entity-seo

entity-seo is an open-source Claude skill I wrote for entity SEO: getting Google and AI search to understand who you are, and how you relate to your company, your brand and the things you've built.

There are a lot of Saad Salmans. Ranking for the name alone doesn't tell a search engine which one I am. What tells me apart is the connections: a fintech product manager at Keep Technologies who built Gramafin and the Pakistan Mutual Funds API. This site is where I use the playbook, and the skill is how I wrote it down.

What it covers

Entity map

List every entity (you, your company, your brand, each product and service, your ideas) and write down, in one sentence, why each line between them exists.

Structured data

One JSON-LD graph where every entity has its own @id and every relationship points at another node, instead of one person with a pile of loose facts.

Reinforcement everywhere

The same relationships stated on every profile, byline, title, description, image and video, where they fit naturally and nowhere they don't.

Measurement

Free Google Search Console rank tracking, plus relationship checks: does Google or an AI assistant know who built what, and who works where?

Questions

What is the entity-seo skill?

It's an open-source Claude skill and plain Markdown playbook for entity SEO. It helps a person or brand define their entities, such as themselves, their company, brand and products, and make the relationships between them clear to Google and AI-powered search.

Who built it?

I did. I'm Saad Salman, a fintech product manager in Lahore. My name is shared by a lot of other people, so I wrote down what it took to make search engines tell me apart, and open-sourced it.

Is it free?

Yes. It's MIT licensed on GitHub, and everything the core workflow needs, including the Search Console rank check, is free.
